Keyword: facial recognition
Facial recognition - we can easily recognize complex objects and we are especially good at identifying faces. From birth, we can show rudimentary facial processing capabilities and exhibit heightened interest in faces. Disease, disorders and injury can impair our facial recognition abilities, sometimes in quite specific ways.
