Our Research and Innovation Cores
A pillar of BrainsCAN is its support of the elite research and innovation core infrastructure. BrainsCAN funds are being used to leverage existing investments in infrastructure by Western University and individual researchers. This innovative structure gives BrainsCAN-aligned researchers increased access to state-of-the-art facilities, facilitating high-quality experimental outputs. The Research and Innovation Cores (RIC) will increase Western’s global reputation by enabling high-impact research and attracting exceptional personnel.
